Xmarks User Manual An easy to understand guide on how to use Xmarks.

Your Xmarks Icon

Once you have installed  Xmarks, an Icon will appear. The location of the icon differs within each browser:

  • Chrome: top right in the menu bar.
  • Firefox: bottom right in the add-on bar.
    • If your Xmarks icon doesn't appear in Firefox, do the following:
      •  If you have your Menu Bar enabled: View > Toolbar > select "Add-on Bar" to display your icon.
      •  If your Menu Bar is disabled: Firefox > Options > select "Add-on Bar" to display your icon.
    • If your Add-on Bar is empty, go to Tools > Xmarks > check "Show Status Icon" and "Show Status Bar Stars".
  • Internet Explorer: bottom right in the systems tray.
  • Safari: top right in the menu bar.

The Xmarks icon gives you immediate access to all major features of Xmarks. After logging into Xmarks, clicking on the Icon will drop down a toolbar menu where you can use the following features:
